Style and design is a passion of ours at Two Be Wed, so any opportunity we have to do something creative we jump. Imagine our excitement when asked to collaborate with portrait photographer, Ling Wang. She has an eye for beautiful things, especially capturing a woman’s beauty – all of her senior portraits are model worthy. Together we assembled a vendor dream team to create our take on a playful and fresh summer wedding, featured on Burnett’s Board’s here!
“After an exceptionally long Houston winter, I was craving summer – warmer weather, brighter hues, bold patterns, fun and playful styles. I was inspired by color – I stumbled across a collection of bright hued bowls in a West Elm magazine and it was a breath of fresh air. Bold and bright hues of blue, green, yellow, orange and pink, that could easily transport you to a sunny beach in a tropical destination. Color was the anchor to our design, and we paired it with a clean and minimal yet bold and refreshing take on summer. Little pops of citrus detail in the floral and invitation suite gave it that extra elemental “zing” to stand on it’s own. We surprised ourselves with touches of geometric elements – colorful patterns woven into the invitation suite, white lattice chargers and overlapping chairs in stark white. Our bride was playful and fresh in the sequin-studded “Gemma” gown from BHLDN and bold statement pieces from local jewelry designer, Kendra Scott.” – Ashley Joseph, Designer + Curator of the shoot
